Our Story

Angaza Impact Africa began in 2020 as a vision shared by a small group of passionate community members determined to tackle deep-rooted social and environmental challenges in underserved regions. Grounded in local knowledge and driven by a commitment to equity and sustainability, the group focused on practical ways to improve food security, Creative Expression (Art, Music & Play), economic inclusion, and access to clean energy.

In 2021, Angaza was formally registered as a Community-Based Organization (CBO), marking the beginning of a more structured effort to expand our reach and deepen our impact. Since then, we’ve worked side by side with rural and urban communities; especially women, youth, and smallholder farmers delivering grassroots driven solutions that prioritize dignity, participation, and lasting transformation.

We exist because we believe that when communities lead, they create lasting impact.

Our Work
We are a team of changemakers committed to empowering communities, believing that every act of support can uplift a generation and build a more sustainable future.

As we engaged with communities, we discovered many more underprivileged children in urgent need of food, shelter, and access to education. This realization deepened our commitment and led to the growth of our team and our reach—expanding into new regions to ensure that no child is left behind.

Today, Angaza Impact Africa implements community-based programs that support vulnerable youth and households through access to education, mental health care, and sustainable livelihoods. We work closely with local schools, safe spaces, and support networks to ensure that no one is left behind. Whether through community kitchens, youth mentorship, or skill-building initiatives, our growing presence ensures that support and opportunity are never out of reach.
